Celebrate in MV - Sat, Sun & Mon
TMVOA, Town of MV and TSG have teamed up to present a weekend packed with family fun activities and live music to celebrate Independence Day. There will be a host of activities for kids of all ages, including water balloon toss, bouncy castles, magic shows, mechanical bull, face painting, contests, ice cream and root beer floats… and much more.

Heritage Plaza
Live Music - featuring - Sat (3rd): Lavalanche, Rocky Mountain Jazz Quartet, Bob Hemenger and Lina Vibes
- Sun (4th): Emerita, Booradley’s Blues Experience, Trico and DJ Harry
Fun & Food - Sun (1–5 pm): Root beer floats, hosted by the Telluride Historical Museum
- Sat - Mon (11-5): Face painting, cotton candy, food vendors, fascinator demo
Village Pond Plaza (adjacent to the Conference Center) - Sat – Mon (11 am – 5 pm): Water balloon toss, hula hoop contest, chalk art contest
- Bazaa and the Juggler for mini-shows from the Salida Circus throughout each day with shows at 12:30, 3:00, and 4:30
Sunset Plaza - Sat – Sun (1-5 pm): Inflatable jumpy castles, face painting, a magic show and ice cream socials hosted by the Telluride Adaptive Sports Program
Reflection Plaza (adjacent to Madeline Hotel) - Sat – Hotel Madeline’s Alpine BBQ (a ticketed event) 12-3 pm. Madeline Chefs Bill Greenwood and Lonnie Shepard together with Texan celebrity chef Dean Fearing will be preparing whole hog, elk chili, quail and our vegetarian granja fresca tacos with all the fixings and beer by Telluride Brewing Company. - Movies Under the Stars will present the movie “The Sandlot” (free event at sundown)
- Sun – Mon (11 am-7 pm): Mechanical bull rides
