EVEN THE LIONS AND APES AT THE DENVER ZOO WILL GET COVID VACCINATIONS

The Denver Zoo announced Tuesday it will begin vaccinating some of its animals for COVID-19 as early as next week. Zoo officials are working with veterinary vaccine company Zoetis to get the vaccine for the zoo animals. The veterinary vaccine is developed separately from the ones for humans. The Zoetis vaccine is designed primarily for mammals. The zoo will begin vaccinating primates and carnivores first.
