CinemaCon, the Official Convention of The National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), began Monday and runs through Thursday (today) at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Those theater owners are seeing people return to theaters and are especially pleased to see the return of families. Two family movies topped the weekend box office with “The Bad Guys," exceeding projections, taking in $24 million, and Paramount Pictures' “Sonic The Hedgehog 2," taking in $15.2 million in its third week of release.
